Why work with me?

I have the lived experience of someone who was never comfortable in front of the camera most of her life and who then worked on building the confidence needed to be able to pose for photos.

I am a part-time model with a full-time professional career. Modelling is not my main source of income, and this is why I can be competitive and flexible with my rates and can mostly focus on creating rather than earning. But this does not mean my work is any less interesting; I pose expressively and have a pretty dynamic range, so when you create with me, you end up with images that will always look unique and captivating.

I revel in the creative process and enjoy working with those who are willing to explore and experiment. I am easy-going  on set and my vibrant personality and expressions are reflected in my images. My brand is my true self. With me, what you see is what you get.

Ever since I've started modelling, I have been strongly advocating for local photographers and artists to work with more diverse models. (And where would they find someone diverse? Well, I am in my 40s, from a minority cultural background, of petite stature with a larger sized body. It doesn't get any more diverse than that!)

Working with a diverse model like me can be greatly beneficial. It allows you to hone your skills and demonstrate that you are able to work with someone who does not look like "the usual model". For photographers who are in business, diversifying your portfolio could lead to more bookings when clients see that you can create amazing images with different types of models. And for the hobbyist, this could encourage more models to work with you if they can see that you can and will work with diverse models.

I do not have a particular style, genre or medium that I would categorise my work under. I believe variety is the spice of life! And having many kinds of work means being able to reach and connect with as many people and having something for everyone.
